Before this post, I just want to say that its not easy for a photographer to find a printing lab that they can trust their work in. Lets face it, there’s always possibilities of them not turning out the way you intend them to or sometimes, the medium doesn’t fully compliment the work. This wasn’t until Juliet from Woodsnap contacted and introduced me to the idea of printing on wooden canvases! I was immediately pulled towards the idea because this medium not only reflects my style but could bring out more character from my work. I’m a huge outdoor and scenic photographer. I love images of love in nature and earthy warm tones. I instantly knew Woodsnap was the perfect lab for my clients and I. Below are two studio samples I ordered. The moment they arrived felt like Christmas morning.
I just loooove how the wood enhances the warm tones in my photography and how the sky bleeds through the wood grain textures.
Woodsnap uses a tattoo-like process that fuzes the ink inside of the wood, making it moist and heat resistant. This results in vibrant colors and amazing durability.
This product also comes ready to hang and no framing is necessary. The beautiful trim and cut on the back edge will cast a drop shadow on walls, adding depth.
The wooden texture has an amazing look and feel. They really bring out the best in my photos.
Here’s close up. Yes, I’m in love.. hehe.
The best part: Woodsnap is ecofriendly. They teamed up with American Forest and will plant a tree for every woodsnap sold. If you like what you see, like their page and stay updated to their latest deals and prints. Believe me when I say this makes the perfect gift for family and friends. Thank you Woodsnap!
