Kristen and I go way back to her first photoshoot with me as an established writer. I learned she also loves reading classic novels and walking in the city streets in her red heels. Her goals and ambitions were always clear but everyone knew Kristen was missing the prince charming she well deserves. It wasn’t until she got hired at a newspaper called the San Diego Business Journal, when she met Andrew, her boss.
Enthusiastic as ever, “Hi, I’m Kristen! What do you do here?”
“Everything.” he answered bluntly and quiet miserably… “What was your major?”
“Theater at SDSU”, answered Kristen pleasantly.
Theater? What the hell is a theater major doing here?! Andrew thought quietly to himself. But from that day on, Kristen’s intriguing spirit caught his attention. Needless to say, they were assigned to cubicles right next to each other. Kristen spent her life searching for the kind love she read in novels and little did she know at the time, he was sitting just inches away from her, everyday at work. But a wall couldn’t separate their growing passion and attraction for one another. It came to a point where they had to quit this job and let their relationship grow into one of the most beautiful love I’ve ever witnessed. It wasn’t long before he proposed and they couldn’t wait to get married… so bad that they spontaneously planned a small intimate wedding in just 2 weeks! (No, she wasn’t knocked up!) Looking at the fact that she planned this wedding so shortly, Kristen said she’ll be happy if anything goes right. But guess what? With the kind of love they share, the day was perfectttt as far as I can remember. Diana and I had such a honor photographing this amazing couple and we couldn’t be happier. Congrats to Kristen and Andrew!
Such a fresh and beautiful bride you are, Kristen!
They have been anticipating for this day for the past 2 years. Their first look was amazing and melted me.
I love how nicely all the blues came together.
Brilliant gift idea. The paper of these bags were made up of newspaper from the San Diego Business Journal, where they first met.
Her sister claimed, “I have been preparing Kristen for marriage my whole life!… from stealing her clothes, make-up… I even used her toothbrush… She’ll know what its like to have no privacy because Mom and I have been reading her diaries for years!” Then best man claimed that He was the one who prepared Andrew for marriage with their days of sharing beds and etc. Great speeches that night haha
“Hi everyone, just to make it clear… I’m not knocked up!” haha
Everyone enjoyed the bride and groom’s speeches on how they met each other, through their own perspectives. Kristen was going through a hard time in her life before she realized her happiness was sitting in the cubicle right next to her. And Andrew expressed how his life has changed since this strange wonderful lady. =)
It was a small last minute wedding filled of a lifetime of lovely memories!
These pictures look great! So talented 🙂
